headlights are required for Night, Tunnels, and Raining, its just easier to keep them on all day and night to avoid tickets And headlights are required by law in many countries, all day, no matter how sunny. (Daytime Running Lights, and if the car doesn't have those, normal headlights)

Hey guys I have been playing a lot of ETS2 this week and I am liking it! I only want to know how you can turn off you indicator, for showing people your direction. The only way I have been able to do that is to turn and then stop turning, but when you switch lanes that doesn't work. I have seen people do it on a youtube but can't do it myself and can't find in on the internet. Did the nights get darker or do the headlights emit less light? I used to drive my Scania with 18 extra lights on it and was able to see perfectly with them brights on. Lately it feels like there isnt a whole lot of light coming from them.
Our computers aren't lightweight, but if we run with our lights on, we lose some fps. It's not a big loss since we play at 100+fps normally, but it's hard to track down exactly which mods and which specific lights cause it. Sometimes it's just the chicken lights down the cab, sometimes it's the headlights.
Weak graphics like Intel integrated graphics cannot handle the additional load that simple lights require without a big drop in frame-rate.
