Level 1. Your Blue DPF smart switch will be lit with a steady light on the top half of the switch. This will let you know that a regen is needed. You can simply press the top of the switch for a few seconds to start a regen or you can do a parked regen if you like. Parked is not required at this point.
With the VGT turbos on a Cummins they close them to about 89% to increase exhaust back pressure, which increases load on the engine, which increases exhaust heat. 1100 is fast enough. Regens can last up to 2.5 hours with an ISX. 40 mins is about average. Keep track as best you can how long they are taking.
The B3350 has had the lion's share of regen problems, that those of us with different models have not had so far, and if your dealer does not fix it, you might think about invoking the lemon law and return it and exchange for a different Kubota. There are some great models available, with and without the dpf filter.

The manual regeneration took 17 min but still the automatic regeneration stops after 3 min. I will take it to the dealer to get a diagnostic. Thanks you for you help.

1). Take the car for a drive on the freeway at the speed limit and drop down a gear or two to bring engine revs up to 2500. Hold for 20-30 minutes. This will assist the car to do a passive regeneration. The main reason DPF’s get blocked is short trips and city driving. Drive Faster.

DPF Regen- Forced by Vida. First I have to say, best thing I could have gotten for my V40 is the Vida Dice, life saver!!! So last nigh, heading home from work, just started driving and the message pops up " Partical Filter Full" and " Engine system Service required" and the car goes into Limp mode. Much less power.

Tractor. RK37HC. My RK37HC now has 64 hours on it and I have yet to see a regen request. Several months back I seem to remember someone mentioning that theirs did a regen right at 50 hours when the first service was due. Just curious at what point other RK37 owners are seeing for having to start the regen process.
Regen typically lasts about 20-30 mins and happens only above 30 mph. If it get interrupted, the system will pick up where it left off. A sign you interrupted the regen is that the truck will idle at 800 rpm instead of 680 rpm. I really can't speak to much to how the other manufactures achieve DPF compliance.
The thing you'll notice more than anything is the rpms at idle. Generally the car idles around 900 but during the regeneration it idles at 1,000. Also the fans go off like you're getting ready for take off on a jet plane. Crazy alarming if you're not prepared for it. But these forums help to the mind at ease.
Just started my truck and the temp gauge did not even start to move yet. Oil temp at 70. The idle was normal so not the cold high idle and my dpf stat on my cts just turned on and the idle when to a 1000 rpm and then i could smell the regen. It was definetly in regen just sitting there. Steped on the brake to go and it shut right off.
